Artist’s Bio

Through A Canvas of Flawed Art (ACFA), I transform imperfect moments into tangible beauty—stickers with character, watercolors that breathe, acrylics that hold memory. This journey began years ago in a quiet garden after my first cancer diagnosis, where I learned that beauty doesn't require perfection, only presence and breath. When cancer returned decades later, my husband gifted me brushes—believing everything happens for a reason and hoping to offer comfort through creativity. With no training or skills, only raw intention, I began to paint. From that place of both struggle and discovery, I built a studio that embraces both grit and grace.

ACFA is that studio in motion. Here, flaws aren’t failures—they’re the strokes that make the picture whole. Each piece carries a little of that original garden: resilient, a bit weathered, still alive. And every sale helps shoulder the very real costs of ongoing treatment and recovery while keeping hope—and humor—in the frame.
